How does the creator program work?
Apply with your handles. Once approved you get a unique hashtag and a referral link. Post videos with the hashtag and your link, paste each video into your dashboard, and after a week we verify the view count and credit the amount. Sign-ups through your link are credited to you automatically and pay a share of every payment they make.
- Apply. Tell us where you post and who watches. We approve people whose audience cares about building or growing a product.
- Post. Use your hashtag in every caption and put your referral link where the platform allows it. Cut our raw walkthroughs or record your own screen.
- Submit. Paste the link to each video in your dashboard. A video needs 5,000 views to earn.
- Get paid. Reviewed videos and referral commission add up in your balance. We pay monthly by PayPal or Wise.
What are the posting rules?
English, your hashtag on every post, your referral link where the platform allows it, and your own edit. The video has to be about Statsy or a real analytics problem it solves. Bought views, re-uploads, fake numbers and hustle-guru tone end the partnership.
Allowed platforms
- TikTok
- Instagram Reels
- YouTube Shorts
Requirements
- English language
- Your hashtag on every post
- Your referral link where the platform lets you: TikTok pinned comment, Instagram bio, YouTube description
- Your own edit: original footage or a cut of our raw walkthroughs
- Shows Statsy, or a real analytics or attribution problem it solves
Not allowed
- Unrelated content with the hashtag added
- Re-uploading other people's edits
- Posts without your hashtag or link
- Fake dashboard numbers or made-up prices
- Malicious, defamatory or misleading claims
- Bought views, engagement pods, botted clicks, self-referrals
- Hustle-guru tone, AI slop
Where your link goes
Statsy has no account on these platforms, so there is nothing to tag. Your referral link is what connects a post to you:
- TikTok: your referral link in a pinned comment (or the first comment, if pinning is off)
- Instagram: your referral link in your bio while the reel is up
- YouTube: your referral link in the video description
How do you get paid?
A video earns $1.50 per 1,000 views on its verified view count seven days after you submit it, $3 per 1,000 views when a real Statsy screen is on for more than 10 seconds. Referral commission is 30% of each payment, credited when the payment lands. Balances of $25 or more are paid monthly.
- Views. We take the view count from the platform at review time: YouTube through its API, TikTok and Instagram from the post itself. Views bought or botted do not count, and an account that buys views is removed.
- Caps. $250 per video, $750 per creator per calendar month, and a program pool of $500 per month across all creators. When the pool for a month is spent, later videos in that month earn no view payment; the referral commission is not capped.
- Referrals. Anyone who signs up within 30 days of clicking your link, or types your link straight in, is yours. Commission runs for 12 months from the day their workspace was created, in the currency they pay in.
- Payouts. PayPal or Wise, once a month, minimum $25. Add your payout details in the dashboard; we email you when a payout is sent, with the transaction reference.
Creator program terms
These terms apply to every creator in the program, together with the Statsy terms of service. Joining the program means agreeing to them.
- Eligibility. You must be 18 or older and able to receive payments by PayPal or Wise. One account per person.
- Your content. You keep the rights to your videos and grant Statsy a licence to share and re-post them. You are responsible for what you say: no claims about prices, features or results that are not on statsy.co.
- Disclosure. Mark paid posts as such where your platform or local law requires it. The hashtag alone is not a disclosure.
- Verification and timing. A video is reviewed no earlier than 7 days after submission. Only views that the platform reports count. We may ask for a screenshot of the platform's analytics before paying.
- Stay live. A paid video must stay public for 90 days after review. If it is removed, made private or edited to drop the hashtag or link before then, the amount is deducted from your next payout.
- Caps and pool. The per-video, per-month and program-pool caps above apply. A video approved after the month's pool is spent earns no view payment.
- Fraud. Bought views, view or engagement pods, botted or incentivised clicks, self-referrals, fake or duplicate sign-ups, and referring workspaces you or your employer control end the partnership immediately, forfeit the entire unpaid balance, and let us reclaim payouts already made for the affected videos and referrals. We check view-to-engagement ratios, click patterns and sign-up sources, and the decision is ours.
- Referral commission. Paid on money we actually receive, net of refunds and chargebacks, for 12 months from the day the referred workspace was created. Your own workspaces and those of people you employ do not qualify.
- Payouts. Monthly, once your balance reaches $25. Payment provider fees on your side are yours. You are responsible for any tax on what you earn.
- Changes. We may change the rates and caps with 14 days' notice by email. Videos already reviewed keep the rate they were reviewed at. Either side can end the partnership at any time; earned, unpaid balances above the minimum are still paid.
Questions creators ask
Do I need to be a Statsy customer?
No. You can post about Statsy without an account. Approved creators can ask for a demo workspace with realistic data to record from.
What should the videos be about?
Anything a founder or marketer would stop scrolling for: why a sale showed up as "direct" in Google Analytics, what the revenue-by-channel screen shows, a mention tracker catching a Hacker News post, a live globe of who is on a site right now. We give approved creators raw walkthrough footage to cut.
How are views verified?
YouTube view counts come from the YouTube API. For TikTok and Instagram we read the count from the public post, and may ask for a screenshot of your analytics. A video is reviewed 7 days after you submit it, so the count has settled.
What counts as fraud, and what happens?
Bought views, view or engagement pods, botted or incentivised clicks on your link, self-referrals, fake or duplicate sign-ups, and referring workspaces you or your employer control. We look at the ratio of views to likes and comments, at where clicks come from, and at how referred workspaces behave.
Any of it ends the partnership at once, forfeits the whole unpaid balance, and we may reclaim payouts already made for the videos and referrals involved. There is no warning step.
Do I have to tag Statsy in the post?
No. Statsy has no account on TikTok, Instagram or YouTube, so there is nothing to tag. Put your hashtag in the caption and your referral link where the platform lets you: a pinned comment on TikTok, your bio on Instagram, the description on YouTube.
Which platforms and languages?
TikTok, Instagram Reels and YouTube Shorts, in English. The same video posted on two platforms counts twice, once per platform. Long-form YouTube videos, X posts and LinkedIn do not earn view payments, but your referral link works anywhere.
How long does a video have to stay up?
90 days after review, public, with the hashtag and the link still on it. If it comes down or changes before then, the amount is deducted from your next payout.
What happens when the monthly pool runs out?
The pool is what the program pays for videos in a calendar month across all creators. Once it is spent, videos reviewed later that month earn no view payment; they are not carried over. Referral commission is never capped, so the link keeps paying.
Can I edit an approved video, or post the same one twice?
Editing is fine as long as the hashtag and the link stay. Re-uploading the same edit to the same platform, or re-uploading someone else's edit, is not paid and counts as a rule breach.
When and how am I paid?
Once a month, by PayPal or Wise, when your balance is $25 or more. Video earnings are credited at review, referral commission when a payment lands.
Can I also share my link outside videos?
Yes. Your referral link works in a newsletter, a blog post, a bio or a reply. Only the view payment is limited to the three video platforms.
