Deleting a site, a workspace or your account

What each delete removes, what it leaves behind, how long it takes and what you cannot get back afterwards.

Watch out. Nothing on this page can be undone. Export anything you want to keep first.

Delete a site

In Site settings › Danger zone, choose to delete the site and type its domain exactly to unlock the button. Only an owner can do this.

Settings, goals, funnels, alerts and integrations go immediately. Analytics, replays and heatmaps are deleted from storage within a few minutes, and a second pass runs a couple of minutes later to catch anything that arrived while the deletion was in flight.

The site’s tracking key stops being recognised, so leaving the script on your pages does nothing. It is still tidier to remove the tag.

Delete your account

In Account › Settings, delete your account. You type your email address exactly, and your current password as well if your account has one. If you only ever sign in with a magic link, you must have signed in within the last 15 minutes; otherwise sign out, sign in again and retry.

This removes, in one go:

  • Every workspace where you are the only owner, with all of its sites, analytics, replays, heatmaps and API tokens.
  • Your membership of workspaces that have another owner — those workspaces carry on without you.
  • Pending invitations addressed to you, and any AI assistant connections you approved.
  • Your user record.

Delete a workspace

There is no separate delete-workspace button. A workspace disappears when its last owner deletes their account. If you want a workspace gone but want to keep your account, delete its sites and leave it unused, or write to support@statsy.co and we will do it for you.

Delete one visitor’s data

For a data subject request about a single person, email support@statsy.co with what you can identify them by. Deleting a specific visitor’s data on request is a commitment in the Data Processing Addendum.

Backups

Deletion removes data from the live systems straight away. Encrypted backups still hold a copy for a short while, and it is gone from those within 35 days. We confirm that in writing on request.

Things that are not deletion
