Install on Wix

Add the tag under Custom code for all pages, loaded once in the head, then publish the site.

Wix keeps third-party scripts in a settings panel rather than in the editor canvas.

Where it goes

  1. Open custom code

Settings › Custom code in your site dashboard, then Add custom code.

  2. All pages, head, load once

Paste the tag, apply it to All pages, choose to load it once, and place it in the Head. Save and publish.

html
<script defer data-website-id="ws_XXXXXXXX" data-domain="yourstartup.com" src="https://statsy.co/js/script.js"></script>

Confirm it works

Open the published site and check Live. Custom code does not run in the Wix editor or its preview, so test on the published URL.

Load once, and use your own domain

If you set the code to load on each new page instead of once, Wix re-inserts the script during client-side navigation and you get duplicate pageviews. Once is correct: the script tracks route changes by itself. Also publish to your connected domain rather than a free wixsite.com address, or beacons from that host are dropped as coming from a domain that is not yours.
